Waxing on Salt Spring?
The love/hate relationship with body hair and a happy compromise here on Salt Spring!

Hello lovelies and some of you chaps out there, and everyone inbetween,
On the subject of waxing! Why do it? Isn't everyone on Salt Spring living the 'au natural' look of hairy is best and it's there for a purpose, so why mess with it? Plus, isn't our spiritual connection to the divine messed with if we cut or touch our hair....anywhere? Why choose waxing on Salt Spring?
All reasonable questions. No judgement here and I support whatever makes you feel gloriously holy and divinely plugged in, with or without hair on your body. However, if you are curious about removing some unwanted hair that has started sprouting...post menopause or you just always wanted to give it a go...here is what I offer and why!
I offer full body waxing, and honestly I have ladies from 16-85 that wax various parts of their bodies for many reasons! Chaffing while cycling....that's my 85 year old that has a Brazilian monthly! Lip hair that makes clients feel like a man and they don't like that look, hairy arms that remind them of their grandfather....again there's love for their grandfather but they don't want the memory of looking like him! Chin waxing because whiskers are so prickly when kissing and look rather unsightly when they are bright white, as I am told...not my words. Legs, because silky smooth just feels so lovely to the touch.
Some ladies will wax their Cha Cha - lady parts....and leave their underarms in full bush....and why not. Don't be deceived by our local hippy beauties on the island....waxing the private parts is common here and wildly popular.
There is a common misconception that Brazilian waxes are done for the men or partners...in truth all the woman agree that they feel the sensual sense of sex much more intensely when its bare and naked underneath....better climaxes and orgasms. So, thats a very good reason to wax. Needless to say shaving is an option....but who can get under there and actually see all the bits? Good luck on that one. Raizers are sharp and that can be an uncomfortable mistake....ooops!
Waxing removes hair from the root, so results can last 3-6 weeks, compared to shaving.
Softer regrowth - with regular waxing, hair often grows back feeling finer and softer.
NO DAILY STUBLE - you avoid the prickly feeling that can appear hours after shaving.
Gentle exfoliation - waxing removes a layer of dead surface skin along with the hair, leaving the skin feeling silky smooth.
Helps train the hair cycle - consistent waxing can make regrowth less noticeable over time.
A lovely self care ritual and a feeling of grooming and tidying up....it's very satisfying..
I absolutely love waxing and with over 20 years experience, I hope I am really good at it. My reviews do tell a lovely story and I am always touched by clients that appreciate my dedication and speed...I don't believe in dragging out the pain. I work as fast as possible.
So lots of things to think about before you wax. Please do drop me an email if you have any questions and I would be delighted to reply...or press BOOK NOW on this site and book your appointment today!!! You are never too old, be brave and give waxing a go and see how it feels to be rid of that hair that you just don't appreciate having on your body! You never know...it may improve your sex life too and lets be honest...never too late to improve on that!
Warmly
